Connecting Your Domain
To point your new website at your domain, we need to be able to change your domain settings. Pick whichever option below is easiest for you.
You keep your domain.
Your domain stays registered in your name, on your card, in your account. We never take ownership and we never need to. What we're asking for is permission to change one setting, and you can remove that permission at any time. If you ever leave, your domain goes with you because it was always yours.
STEP 1
Option 1 — Add us to your account
Find your domain provider below and follow the steps. This is the simplest option for most people.
Don't see your provider? Message us and we'll walk you through it, or use Option 2 below.
STEP 2
Option 2 — We send you the records
If your provider isn't listed above, or you'd rather not add anyone to your account, you can point your domain at your new site yourself. We don't list the DNS records on this page because they're unique to each client's setup — there's no generic value we could show here that would work for you. Message us and we'll send your specific records, along with where to put them.
Once they're in, changes usually take effect within an hour but can take up to 48. Send us a message once they're added and we'll confirm everything is pointing correctly.
Not sure where your domain is?
Search your email for a renewal notice. Whoever charges you once a year for your web address is where your domain lives. If you still can't find it, message us and we'll help you track it down.
